Mid- level Project Manager
Day rate: 500-550 per day
Hybrid: 2 days a week on site
Must have EU/UK passport or Stamp 4 working visa.
The ideal candidate will have experience and strong skills in overseeing a number of work streams in an Agile Project Management Methodology. The project manager will also collate, prepare and publish status updates regularly to relevant channels. Project cost / budget management is an key element of this role.
Objectives of this role
- Ensure projects are monitored and managed to achieve scope, quality, time and cost goals.
- Lead projects from planning through deployment, working with product representation to ensure backlog of stories, prioritisation, identifying schedules, scopes, forecast estimations and budget management
- Risk identification and mitigations reviewed regularly
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
Responsibilities
- Work with Programme Manager to collate, prepare and publish portfolio of projects status on monthly basis
- Disseminate and update monthly cost actuals for the portfolio of projects
- Establish and maintain processes for managing project status during the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
Required skills and qualifications
- Five or more years of project management experience
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
- Agile Scrum certification or familiarity
