Exciting Opportunity: Senior Designer Role – Longford Office
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join and lead our in-house design team at our Longford office.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme Management: Develop and oversee design programmes in line with client contractual agreements.
- Technical Oversight: Manage all technical aspects of the business, addressing both internal and external queries.
- Tender Support: Collaborate with the estimating team, contributing technical knowledge and value engineering at the tender stage.
- Manufacturing Coordination: Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure all design information aligns with manufacturing requirements and to improve processes where necessary.
- Team Leadership: Lead the in-house design team, setting targets and providing regular progress updates.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key accounts across Ireland.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with client design teams, external consultants, and site teams regarding live project queries.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Industry Expertise: Several years of experience in timber frame or modular build design.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD and knowledgeable in Digital Project Delivery principles.
- Drawing Skills: Ability to create and interpret architectural and engineering drawings for new and existing projects.
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve challenges effectively.
