Building Surveyor -  Residential

  • Location: Dublin
  • Role Type: Permanent

Project:

  • Conducting property inspections, stock condition surveys, and defect analysis.
  • Managing repairs, maintenance, and planned works programs, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Performing fire safety assessments and supporting energy management initiatives.
  • Providing technical expertise for adaptations, including feasibility studies and liaising with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Utilising and updating a Building Asset Database to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Assisting with procurement, building pathology, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • A 3rd level qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management and or a trade background
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within housing or residential projects with site inspections , snagging etc.
  • Expertise in building pathology, stock condition surveys, and planned maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, health and safety legislation, and technical guidance documents.
  • Proficiency in modern surveying techniques and building asset database management.
