About the Role
As a Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in developing sophisticated trading technology solutions, with a strong focus on Aeron and capital markets applications. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient trading platforms while mentoring others and shaping best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-performance trading solutions, ensuring resilience and scalability.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define technical requirements and best practices.
- Drive high-quality coding standards, including test-driven development and performance optimization.
- Act as a mentor to junior engineers and advocate for technical excellence.
- Contribute to Agile development processes and support delivery within time and budget constraints.
About You
- Extensive experience in capital markets software development, with strong Java and Aeron expertise.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and low-latency solutions.
- Familiarity with financial trading platforms such as Order Management Systems, Execution Management Systems, Matching Engines, and Algo Containers.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and software lifecycle best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
