Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (Level 8 qualification).
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial and financial roles within civil and utilities projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract types and legal frameworks.

Role Overview The Onsite Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial performance of projects, ensuring profitable growth. This role involves monitoring and reporting on project costs, supporting payment claims, and ensuring adherence to financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures.
• Assist with project P&L responsibilities within delegated authority levels.
• Support estimating, tender preparation, and project cost monitoring.
• Aid in project planning, budgeting, and pricing additional works/variations.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and cash flow projections.
• Assist in procurement activities and contract correspondence.
• Help resolve final account meetings, loss/expense claims, and commercial disputes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk/value management exercises.
• Calculate and agree on monthly valuations, generate invoices, and support credit control.
• Provide accurate reporting of work in progress (WIP) against contract valuations.
