Location: Primarily remote, with occasional visits to Dublin HQ
Contract Start Date: October 2024
Contract Duration: 12 month with view for extension
Daily rate: €500
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java/JEE Developer to build and maintain high-performing, scalable applications for our client in Dublin. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Java, J2EE, Groovy, and Grails, and will work both independently and as part of a team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and program Java components and applications.
- Maintain, tune, and repair applications to meet specifications.
- Provide user support and integrate technical components to meet business needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance and incident resolution.
Your background:
- Over 7 years of senior-level Java/JEE experience.
- Minimum of 5 years with Java 5–17, J2EE, Groovy, and Grails 2-5.
- At least 3 years of experience with Apache and Tomcat servers.
- Level 8 qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
