Principal Product Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Principal Product Designer to join a dynamic team focused on developing digital interfaces for innovative medical devices and systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, applying user research and design skills to create impactful user experiences across software, hardware, and cloud-based platforms. As part of the User Experience Design (UXD) team, you will lead design efforts, ensuring user-centered, innovative solutions that align with business goals.

Key responsibilities include managing multiple design projects, mentoring UX talent, and driving user-centered design processes. You will work closely with R&D and marketing teams, create design specifications, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Experience with tools like Axure, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud is required, along with a deep understanding of Agile and SCRUM environments and experience with Hardware design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or related fields.
• 9+ years of experience in interaction/visual design, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Expertise in responsive design, design tools, and collaboration with development teams.
• Proven success in applying design language and frameworks in fast-paced settings.
• Healthcare or medical device experience is a plus.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days onsite and occasional travel (10-15%). An online portfolio is required for consideration.
