Procurement / Purchasing Manager – Main Contractor – South East

Location: Wexford

Base: Hybrid, 2/3 days in office
Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement/purchasing, preferably within the construction sector

We are seeking an experienced Procurement / Purchasing Manager to join a progressive construction company in Wexford. This role is crucial in managing purchasing strategies, supplier relationships, and cost efficiencies to support the company's projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts to secure the best terms.

  • Work closely with project teams to forecast material requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience, ideally in the construction sector.
