Software Developer in Test
6 Month Contract | Galway, Hybrid | €450 per day

As a Software Developer in Test (SDET), you’ll use your expertise in software development and test automation to design, build, and optimize robust customer-facing applications. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in improving test automation frameworks and fostering best practices across the team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tests, covering unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Build and integrate automation frameworks (Ruby or Java with Cucumber).
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with reliable and scalable testing solutions.
- Collaborate with the Scrum team on code reviews and application testing.
- Support application development using JavaScript/Angular and RESTful web services.
About You
- Strong background in Java, Ruby, or similar, with experience in test automation frameworks.
- Skilled in Agile methodologies and software engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber, Jenkins, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Passionate about Test-Driven Development and delivering maintainable, testable code.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp large systems and solve complex problems.
