Senior Designer – Longford

Exciting Opportunity: Senior Designer Role – Longford Office

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join and lead our in-house design team at our Longford office.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme Management: Develop and oversee design programmes in line with client contractual agreements.
• Technical Oversight: Manage all technical aspects of the business, addressing both internal and external queries.
• Tender Support: Collaborate with the estimating team, contributing technical knowledge and value engineering at the tender stage.
• Manufacturing Coordination: Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure all design information aligns with manufacturing requirements and to improve processes where necessary.
• Team Leadership: Lead the in-house design team, setting targets and providing regular progress updates.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key accounts across Ireland.
• Project Coordination: Liaise with client design teams, external consultants, and site teams regarding live project queries.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Industry Expertise: Several years of experience in timber frame or modular build design.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD and knowledgeable in Digital Project Delivery principles.
• Drawing Skills: Ability to create and interpret architectural and engineering drawings for new and existing projects.
• Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve challenges effectively.
• Work Ethic: Flexible, dependable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
